Why are dogs and cats mortal enemies?                                                                       

This is actually an “urban myth”. There are many examples of dogs and cats co- habiting with a family and being great friends and companions. The situation   works best when a puppy and kitten are introduced to a home at the same time. It used to give me great pleasure as a child to see my pet boxer dog cuddling up   with my pet cat.
