                            about your pet...

My dog has a cruciate ligament problem - he is on anti-inflamitories and antibiotics but is getting worse - what treatment is there?

It sounds as if your pet may need surgery. The good news is that the operation is usually very successful. Contact your local vet clinic to find out a recommended surgeon in your area. They may not necessarily recommend an operation but I am sure they will help.

There are also treatments such as cartrophen injections which may help.

cheers,

Jack
