Is it ok for my dog to be an only child? Do I need two dogs?

Psychologically dogs regard themselves and human owners as part of a “pack”. Consequently “only child” dogs are quite content and show excellent social skills if effectively managed.

If parents treat only children correctly they will be fine, similarly with pets, if they are managed correctly then they will be the “perfect” friend.
