                            about your pet...

My dog scratches herself raw, what can I do?

Your dog's problem is not unusual - however it can be difficult to cure. I assume you have had skin scrapings taken. Most of the time the problem starts out with an allergy and develops into a secondary bacterial infection.

You could try avil tablets (one twice a day), these are available from the chemist but I suspect that you may need more than this.

There are skin specialists who can also help.

cheers,

Jack.
